Untitledby Teresa Dingaman
This artwork depicts Aboriginal iconography, which reflects on the landscape of Kata Tjuta , its culture and people. The Anangu people are the traditional owners of Uluru and Kata Tjuta.
In the Tjukurrpa the Anangu's spiritual ancestors performed ceremonies, mapped throughout the landscape in topographic features, such as waterholes, rock formation, caves, hills and gorges. They travelled the land, linked scared places to the past and its stories.
