BiographyStacey Davis was born on the 10th August in 1981. Stacey's country is Sandy Bore in Central Australia. Stacey is following in her mother, Therese Davis's footsteps. She is one of the Keringke's young emerging artists ans is adapting her family's painting with new interpretation in colour and design. Stacey works to reflect the patterns that she finds in the landscape and to layer them in ways that provide a view of her unique Arrernte perspective of the world. Stacey is working at the school as a teacher's aid and is painting in her spare time. Her work is bold only using one or two predominate and keringke style making her work stand out. In 2010-2011 amazingly sold a body of work and in 2013-2014 she started painting in golds and light brown, one of the few artists who can. |
