BiographyPamela Napurrurla Walker was born in 1957 at Mount Doreen Station. Pamela comes from a large Warlpiri family who reside at Yuendumu Community in Central Australia. Her father who is sadly deceased was an important senior man in Warlpiri culture. Pamela first began painting with Warlurkurlangu Artist (at Yuendumu) in 1994 but it wasn't until 2006 that she began to paint full time. Pamela's artworks depict Dreamings which have been passed down to her from her father's side of the family. These stories and Dreamings have been shared through story telling through countless generations.
