This painting relates to the Napangardi & Napanangka women collecting Ngalyipi (snake vine). The snake vine has great ceremonial significance to Warlpiri people. Ngalyipi is used to make shoulder straps to help carry Ngami (water carriers) and Parraja (coolamon).
