BiographyKakula McDonald comes from Papunya Community in Central Australia. She is a young Luritja woman who paints with Bindi Mwerre Anthurre Artists Studio’s, and has since about 2002. Kakula paints Red Tailed Black Cockatoos and she will often incorporate them into lancscapes depicting her home community of Papunya. Kakula also makes handcrafted jewellery with seed and nut shells that have been collected around Central Australia.
